Committee Day Schedule

Four times each year, MAFP committees meet on the same day for what is known as a “Cluster Day.” Meetings are typically held at the MAFP office in Okemos (unless otherwise noted). The scheduled times of each committee meeting are below. We welcome all interested members to join us at the next Cluster Day.

Committee Descriptions

Advocacy Committee - Shape health care policy through interactions with government, the public, business, other professional organizations, and the health care industry.

Education Committee - Bring together Residency Program Directors, Students and Residents, and Medical School Chairs to advocate for family medicine.

Communication/Memebership Committee - Recuit and retain members while offering viable membership services. Participate in health and safety promotion, disease prevention, and chronic disease management in Michigan. Promote the unique and essential role of family medicine and the MAFP to the public, business, government, health care industry, students, and our members.
