COPH COMMITTEE CHARGE:
The Michigan Academy of Family Physician's Committee on Public Health promotes and facilitates the MAFP leadership role in improving the health of the people of the State of Michigan, with particular attention to health promotion, disease prevention, and patient/public education. The committee focuses its efforts on health problems of the state and takes an approach intended to integrate individual, family and community care. The committee fosters relationships and interaction with voluntary health, government and medical professional organizations concerned with public health.
