Free Immunization Update Opportunities
(not approved for AAFP prescribed credit)
Available Programs Include:
Office Staff Update
Immunization update for staff in private practices who administer immunizations that are offered at times that meet clinic needs. They are presented by Immunization Nurse Educators. There are 1.5-hour sessions available on Pediatric Immunization, Adult Immunization, Family Practice Immunization and Immunization in the OB/GYN practice.
One-hour sessions include information on vaccine administration and vaccine storage and handling. All sessions include information on newly licensed vaccines and schedule recommendations, minimum intervals between immunizations, contraindications for immunization, vaccine administration, required documentation and vaccine storage and handling.
