Course Eligibility

FMFM will apply for AAFP Prescribed Credit.

Courses on any clinical subject will be considered.  Courses presented by family physicians and/or those that are interactive (e.g. include open participation, hands-on activities or demonstrations) are well-received and may be given priority.  Presentation proposals must include current topics of interest, including but not limited to new technologies, research findings, procedures, and and/or practice management.

The proposal form must be completed in its entirety to receive consideration.

  • In compliance with new Continuing Medical Education (CME) guidelines, your submission must include the professional gap, need, objectives, and a list of speaker(s).
  • The completed proposal must be submitted by Tuesday, October 24, 2017.

Decision Process/Timeline

Family Medicine Foundation of Michigan’s Professional Development Committee will review all proposals. If your presentation is selected, the committee will assign a program date and time, taking presenters’ preferences and availability into account.  The quality and overall content of the conference's educational programming rests ultimately with the committee; thus, once a course has been reviewed and accepted, any changes must be submitted in writing and approved by the committee.  The committee reserves the right to make editorial changes to a course, title and/or objectives, and will provide the speaker with written notification if a change has been made. Notification will be sent via email.

  • Call for Presentation Proposals September 21-October 24, 2017
