2020 MI Family Medicine Advocacy Day
February 25, 2020
Anderson House Office Building, Mackinac Room | 124 North Capitol Ave., Lansing, MI
MAFP and Michigan Association of Osteopathic Family Physicians invite family physicians, family medicine residents, and medical students to advocate for their specialty and their patients in downtown Lansing on Tuesday, February 25.
Meet with state legislators and their staff to discuss and share personal experiences regarding legislative and policy issues impacting access to primary care, the family medicine practice environment, and the patient-physician relationship.
Collectively, MAFP and MAOFP represent more than 4,500 family physicians and family physicians-in-training across the state.
Advocacy Day is held during Family Medicine Week in Michigan, proclaimed by Governor Gretchen Whitmer as February 23-29, 2020. (Click the link for ideas on how you can increase awareness of Family Medicine Week.)
