With thirty years of family medicine experience, Dr. Susan Stevens will share what practicing was like in the past and how it compares to practicing family medicine today. This session will also discuss and thoughts on the future, emphasizing new technologies and tools, as well as its position in the medical community.

Finding the Balance
Burnout is common in everyday life no matter what profession you are in. Often, professionals struggle to find a healthy balance between their work and personal life. This session will provide attendees with insight on how to create a balanced life that is truly enjoyable.

Expressing the Fundamental Aspects of Our True Selves
This session features a discussion about the mental and physical health impacts that lack of inclusion and being closeted about one's sexuality or other perceived stigma has on individuals in the workplace and in life. Learn about the downstream implications this has for creativity and productivity in life, both personal and professional, and develop methods to promote diversity and inclusion.

Managing Obesity: A Multi-Faceted Approach
Develop an understanding of the clinical impact of obesity and how family physicians can incorporate obesity management into their current practice. The lecturer, Dr. Jennifer Hanna, is board certified in family medicine as well as obesity medicine and has a special interest in obesity management for children and adults through a multi-disciplinary approach. The United States is facing an epidemic of obesity and there is a high need for physician understanding of obesity management.
