2023 Michigan Family Medicine Advocacy Day
Michigan Academy of Family Physicians (MAFP) and Michigan Association of Osteopathic Family Physicians (MAOFP) invite family physicians, family medicine residents, and medical students to downtown Lansing on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, to advocate for family medicine.
Registration includes breakfast, lunch, and a morning advocacy seminar, followed by meetings with state legislators and their staff to discuss and share personal experiences regarding legislative and policy issues impacting access to primary care, the family medicine practice environment, and the patient-physician relationship.
Collectively, MAFP and MAOFP represent more than 4,500 family physicians and family physicians-in-training across the state.
Additional materials and content will continue to be posted leading up to Advocacy Day.
