Webinar: Overview of the 2019 ASCCP Risk Based Consensus Management Guidelines
During this one-hour interactive webinar, attendees will learn about the 2019 American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (ASCCP) Risk-Based Management Consensus Guidelines for Abnormal Cervical Cancer Screening Tests and Cancer Precursors.
The 2019 guidelines, published June 2020, present a paradigm shift from results-based to risk-based management strategy and practice, and focus on the three available cervical screening strategies: primary human papillomavirus (HPV) screening, cotesting with HPV testing and cervical cytology, and cervical cytology alone. Importantly, the guidelines incorporate history and test results to determine the next step in evidence-based care, providing personalized risk management.
