Live Webinar: Building an Integrated Behavioral Health Program in Primary Care

October 4, 2021
Virtual | 7-8 PM | , ,

This one-hour webinar will delve into how primary care physicians can actively engage in providing integrated behavioral health services. Premature death from mental illness is a problem within the general population. While most of these deaths are due to comorbid conditions such as heart and lung disease, diabetes, and infectious diseases, individuals with mental health issues have an even greater need for primary care services than their peers without mental health difficulties. Studies show that people with behavioral health needs receive a lower quality of care in primary care settings because they often have difficulty navigating the healthcare system.
