MAFP Member Mixer - Cheboygan County CANCELLED
EVENT CANCELLED: Due to the COVID-19 public health crisis, MAFP has cancelled this Member Mixer. News about future MAFP and Family Medicine Foundation of Michigan events is available at mafp.com/events and will be updated as the COVID-19 crisis subsides. We encourage you to visit MAFP’s COVID-19 webpage—a “one-stop” compilation of information and resources from state and national expert organizations, updated in real time. Please email email@example.com or call 517.347.0098 if you have any questions.
You are invited to an informal family medicine gathering hosted by Loretta Leja, MD for networking with family physicians from the Cheboygan County area, hors d'oeuvres, and beverages. Plus, get the inside scoop on what's happening at your Academy, upcoming CME and professional development events, and the latest on advocacy issues impacting you and your patients. This is one of the NEW Member Mixers, hosted by members across the state, that MAFP is sponsoring in 2020.
Dr. Leja (Cheboygan) has been practicing family medicine in the Cheboygan area since 1983. She sees patients at the Rivertown Medical Clinic and serves as Mackinac Straits Health System chief of staff. Dr. Leja is a past president of MAFP and a current AAFP delegate, representing Michigan at Congress of Delegates. Dr. Leja earned her medical degree from Medical College of Wisconsin in 1979 and completed residency at Saginaw Family Medicine Residency program in 1982.
