Dr. VanDerKolk (Kalamazoo) is program director of Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine Residency and an assistant professor and third-year clerkship director in the department of family and community medicine. With an interest in transgender care, she has started a transgender clinic at Family Health Center, a federally qualified health center in Kalamazoo. She earned her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine and completed family medicine residency at University of Michigan. Dr. VanDerKolk is a member of the MAFP Board of Directors.
