Michigan Family Medicine Research Day Recognizes Excellence in ResearchMay 22 marked the 47th Michigan Family Medicine Research Day — an opportunity for researchers, practitioners, and trainees in family medicine, allied health professions and the behavioral sciences to come together in a collegial atmosphere to learn and exchange ideas. Thank you to Michigan State University College of Human Medicine Department of Family Medicine for hosting this year’s conference in collaboration with Family Medicine Foundation of Michigan and the family medicine departments at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine, University of Michigan Medical School, Wayne State School of Medicine and Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. The day-long agenda featured a keynote address by Nadia Abuelezam, ScD, Making the Invisible Visible: Arab/Mena American Health Disparities and Healthcare Challenges.
