MC3 Offers Free Youth Suicide Prevention Quality Improvement Project

MC3 is offering a Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Part IV Credit and Performance Improvement Project (PI CME) through the Michigan Medicine Quality Department. The PI CME is supported by Health Resources and Services Administration funding and there is no cost to providers or clinics. This quality improvement project is focused on Youth Suicide Prevention in Primary Care through screening, risk assessment, and safety planning. Participation in this project will satisfy your 2026 MOC IV requirement. The deadline to sign up is Nov. 21.

Who can participate: Board-certified, licensed MDs and DOs and licensed PAs in the state of Michigan who are primary care providers for adolescents (ages 12-17) and seeking MOC IV (MD/DO) for Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, or Performance Improvement CME (PA). Note that other providers are welcome to participate but would not receive MOC IV or Performance Improvement CME.
