Dr. Hamed Reappointed to Michigan Board of Medicine

Governor Gretchen Whitmer recently announced appointments and reappointments to several state boards and commissions, including the Michigan Board of Medicine. Among those reappointed is Mustafa 'Mark' Hamed, MD, MBA, MPH, FAAFP, who will continue serving as a physician member of the Michigan Board of Medicine for a term of Jan. 1, 2026, through Dec. 31, 2029. 

Dr. Hamed is an attending family medicine physician with Henry Ford Health System and serves as medical director for multiple counties and health systems across Michigan. He is also an associate clinical professor at the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and Central Michigan University College of Medicine. MAFP congratulates Dr. Hamed and thanks him for his continued leadership and service to family medicine and the people of Michigan.
