Dr. James Shetlar, MAFP Past President, Passes Away

MAFP recently learned of the passing of member and past president James Shetlar, MD, FAAFP. Dr. Shetlar was president of MAFP during 1988-1989. He also served as a board member of AAFP. Dr. Shetlar began practicing family medicine in Frankenmuth in 1972, serving many families throughout his career as the longest practicing physician in Saginaw County.
