MAFP Announces 2026 NCCL Delegates

The National Conference of Constituency Leaders (NCCL) is the AAFP’s leadership conference that empowers emerging leaders to drive positive change in family medicine and elevate the voices of underrepresented groups. Scheduled for April 23-25, NCCL brings together Active members serving as constituency delegates. We are excited to announce the Michigan Academy of Family Physicians (MAFP) 2026 NCCL Delegates:

  • Elisa Kolk, MD – Woman Physician Delegate
  • William Childs II, DO – BIPOC Physician Delegate
  • Dan Drake, MD, FAAFP – New Physician Delegate
  • Yamuna Yoganathan, MD – IMG Physician Delegate
  • Ashley Erwin, MD – LGBTQ+ Physician/Physician Ally Delegate

These delegates will write, introduce, discuss, and vote on resolutions. A resolution can begin as an idea and then be developed into a formal proposal or recommendation. The purpose of a resolution introduced at NCCL may be to establish AAFP policy, request investigation or implementation of an AAFP program, address issues of concern, or request the elimination of nonessential AAFP activities.
