Delicia Pruitt, MD, MPH, FAAFP has been appointed interim executive director of Central Michigan University Medical Education Partners (CMEP). In her new role Dr. Pruitt will continue to grow CMU's clinical education environment and ensure CMEP remains well-positioned to serve learners, patients, faculty and community partners.
"Dr. Pruitt brings a strong commitment to public health, clinical education, and community partnership," said Tina L. Thompson, PhD, Interim Dean at CMU College of Medicine in a statement.
Dr. Pruitt will continue her clinical responsibilities with the Saginaw County Health Department while working with other leadership from CMEP to support ongoing operations and organizational priorities. Congratulations, Dr. Pruitt!
