MAFP Member Posters Selected for Display at FUTURE

FUTURE (formerly National Conference of Family Medicine Residents and Medical Students) provides one of the largest forums for medical students and family medicine residents to display research initiatives and special projects. Fifty posters have been selected for display during the conference. Poster topics include clinical inquiries, community projects, educational programs and research.

Congratulations to the following Michigan Academy of Family Physicians members for having their research selected:

• Jasdeep Grewal, Ross University School of Medicine, will display "Low FODMAP Diet for Symptom Management in Pediatric Irritable Bowel Syndrome: An Evidence-Based Review (Clinical Inquiry)."
• Lauren Heinonen, University of Michigan Medical School, will display "Determinants of Medical Student Specialty Choice: A Cross-Sectional Study of Factors Associated with
  Interest in Primary Care (Research)." 
• Abhijeet Kaur, MD and Amro Al-Omari, MD, Trinity Health Hospital, will display "Subtherapeutic INR, Supratherapeutic Risk: A Hidden Danger of Anticoagulation Bridging (Clinical Inquiry)."

 Posters will be displayed on-site during FUTURE, July 30–August 1, in Kansas City, MO.
