Michigan Academy of Family Physicians (MAFP), the state’s largest specialty physician organization, has announced its 2026–2027 Board of Directors, effective July 18. Comprising experienced and emerging leaders from across the state, the board is tasked with guiding the organization’s mission to support family physicians and advocate for accessible, high-quality primary care.

Officers:

• President-elect: Kristi VanDerKolk, MD, FAAFP (Kalamazoo)

• Speaker: Christopher Milback, MD, MBA, FAAFP (Detroit)
• Treasurer: Susan Stevens, DO, FAAFP (Livonia)
