Lory M. Read, DO has been named to the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) new Rural Health Advisory Committee (RHAC). The committee was established by the AAFP Board of Directors to elevate the voice of rural family physicians and strengthen the Academy’s work on behalf of rural communities. The RHAC will provide insight into rural practice, identify emerging challenges and help guide AAFP policies and advocacy to strengthen rural family medicine and improve access to care.
