Family Medicine Week, Sept. 27–Oct. 3, shines a spotlight on the essential role family physicians play in communities across the country. This year’s theme, “Called to Family Medicine,” honors the physicians who chose a specialty grounded in relationships, whole-person care and service to their communities. It celebrates the experiences, people and defining moments that drew them to family medicine and continue to shape the care they provide every day.
