Resolution Writing Workshop (Virtual)

Submitting a resolution (formal written proposal for change) is an important way for members to shape Academy policies, positions, services, and initiatives. MAFP is accepting resolutions through June 21, for discussion and voting by the membership at the 2023 Annual Meeting (Aug. 14, Grand Traverse Resort).

Attend this workshop to:

• Learn how to write a resolution that meets the required format
• Learn where to research past actions/policies of the Academy and/or other organizations that address the topic of your resolution
• Learn what happens to a resolution once it is submitted
• Learn what happens to a resolution once it is passed by the membership
• Get your questions answered

If you aren’t able to attend the live virtual workshop, a recording will be available for on-demand viewing.
