September 6, 2019 - In October, MAFP is launching a new mentorship pilot program designed to facilitate the one-one-one exchange of knowledge, expertise, guidance, and support between members.
“This new Academy member benefit program developed by the Member Engagement Committee is an answer to members’ requests for assistance in making connections that will help them advance their leadership, professional development, practice management, scholarly activities, and work-life balance,” said MAFP Chief Executive Officer Karlene Ketola, MSA, CAE.
The first cohort of a maximum of 20 pairings will kick off on January 1, 2020. Details will be included in the fall issue of Michigan Family Physician, due out later this month, and Michigan Family Physician. The application period will be open to all members beginning October 15 through November 8.
