Each year, the MAFP Foundation selects two Family Medicine residents and two medical students to represent Michigan as Delegates/Alternate Delegates to the National Congress. The Foundation also provides funding assistance to the selected Delegates/Alternate Delegates in the form of a scholarship to be used towards travel and lodging expenses at National Conference. Applications are due April 8.
The MAFP Foundation invites Family Medicine Interest Groups (FMIGs) in Michigan to apply for grant funding for the 2016-2017 academic year, intended to support activities and efforts to increase student interest in Family Medicine in Michigan. The deadline to apply is April 15.

State Innovation Model Pilot Regions Chosen
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services announced on March 9, 2016, that five locations have been chosen as test sites for the state's Blueprint for Health Innovation. Testing in these pilot regions is set to launch this summer.
