Poster PresentationPoster presentations are a great way to showcase your research and work on a project, as well as network and connect with family medicine colleagues.


Michigan Family Medicine Research Day

This annual event (held the Thursday before Memorial weekend) educates physicians, residents, and medical students on the latest family medicine research in Michigan. It is designed to encourage and assist new researchers and scholars in family medicine, nursing, and the behavioral sciences, facilitating learning and the exchange of ideas that may improve patterns of practice and the health of patients.


National Conference of Family Medicine Residents & Medical Students

Up to 50 entries will be selected for display. Of those, the top 12 will be invited to give a brief oral presentation onsite for peer review.

Host: American Academy of Family Physicians

Eligibility: Medical student and family medicine resident members of AAFP in good standing


Family Medicine Experience (FMX)

FMX is the largest annual gathering of family physicians, with nearly 5,000 attendees. The poster presentation area is a popular destination where attendees come for the latest family medicine research and to earn CME credit.

Host: American Academy of Family Physicians

Eligibility: Medical student and family medicine members of AAFP in good standing


Family Medicine Midwest Conference

This regional conference attracts faculty, residents, and medical students from Midwest states to attract and inspire medical students to choose Midwest family medicine residency programs; showcasing the amazing variety of career opportunities in family medicine; provide a platform for sharing innovative ideas and best practices; build a regional network dedicated to improving the health of all patients, tackling many of today’s most daunting public health challenges.
