Michigan Family Medicine Research Day Recognizes Exemplary Projects

May 25 marked the 45th Michigan Family Medicine Research Day—an opportunity for family medicine and community health physicians, physician assistants, and psychologists to share and learn the latest research in family medicine across the state.

Thank you to Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine for hosting the virtual conference in collaboration with Family Medicine Foundation of Michigan and the family medicine departments at Central Michigan University College of Medicine, Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, University of Michigan Medical School, Wayne State University School of Medicine, and Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine.

The day-long agenda featured a keynote address by Colleen Fogarty, MD, SC, of University of Rochester Medical Center, who spoke about “Research, Family Medicine and YOU,” and 42 resident research presentations. Congratulations to members of Michigan Academy of Family Physicians listed below who received awards for their research presentations.
