New Implicit Bias On-demand CME Just $25

Other On-demand Education Offerings Expire Aug. 31

Now available for purchase is a recording of the 1-hour webinar, “Calling-in versus Calling-out: Having Impactful Conversations,” that Family Medicine Foundation of Michigan hosted this spring. This on-demand session is approved for 1.0 Enduring CME credit through June 1, 2024, and contributes toward the State of Michigan’s implicit bias training requirement for medical licensure.

Melinda Messineo, PhD, professor of sociology at Ball State University, discusses the most impactful and supportive use of “calling some in” versus “calling someone out” within the context of diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility, and belonging. She will also help you recognize the role implicit and unconscious biases play in patient care interactions and provide a variety of phrases and strategies to help navigate conversations with patients.

Click here to purchase the webinar; MAFP members must login with their username (email address) and password to access the discounted member-rate of just $25. If you don’t know your password, you may reset it. For help logging into MAFP’s website, email [email protected].
