Make Your Voice Heard; Attend the MAFP Annual Meeting on Aug. 14

Members are invited to the 2023 Michigan Academy of Family Physicians (MAFP) Annual Meeting, taking place Monday, Aug. 14, 11:45-1:45 pm, during the Michigan Family Medicine Conference & Expo (Aug. 12-15) at Grand Traverse Resort in Acme (minutes from Traverse City). There is no cost for members to attend, and complimentary lunch will be served.

During this official MAFP business meeting, led by MAFP Speaker Bashar Yalldo, MD:

• Members will discuss and vote on 14 resolutions (member-proposed ideas for change)
• Members will elect new leaders of the MAFP Board of Directors and witness their installation
• AAFP President Tochi Iroku-Malize, MD, MPH, MBA, FAAFP will confer the AAFP Degree of Fellow (FAAFP) to Michigan's newest AAFP Fellows
• MAFP CEO Karlene Ketola will deliver her State of the Academy address
• Glenn Dregansky, DO, FAAFP will deliver his outgoing presidential address
• Beena Nagappala, MD, MPH will deliver her incoming presidential statement
