MAFP President Appointed to AAFP Commission on Federal and State Policy

Congratulations to MAFP President Beena Nagappala, MD, MPH, who has been appointed to serve on the AAFP's Commission on Federal and State Policy. The Commission analyzes legislative and regulatory policy issues affecting family physicians, patients, and the healthcare system at both state and federal levels. It also provides recommendations for positive revisions to these policies, produces white papers and position statements to shape legislative decisions, and collaborates with reference committees to analyze proposed resolutions in alignment with AAFP objectives. Thank you, Dr. Nagappala for contributing your leadership and expertise to MAFP and AAFP!
