Michigan Academy of Family Physicians exists to support, represent, and advocate for the family medicine specialty. It is important that all members weigh in on Academy policies and activities, ensuring all-encompassing perspectives are considered. One way for members to make their voice heard is: 

Submit a Resolution

A resolution is a formal written proposal or recommendation for MAFP to establish policy, address an issue of concern, eliminate a non-essential activity, or explore or implement a new program.

MAFP members are invited to submit resolutions for the membership to consider at the Annual Meeting. This year’s meeting is being held on July 15, at Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, in conjunction with the 2024 Michigan Family Medicine Conference & Expo (July 13-16). There is no cost to attend the Annual Meeting, where members receive a complimentary lunch.

Resolutions are due by May 21 to be considered at the Annual Meeting.
